Soil and Soul is a guided meditation and embodiment practice to help you release and compost old patterns, habits, and ways of being, in concert with the moon.
It is a virtual gathering where we explore and integrate the decomposition part of nature’s cycle, which then feeds our next phase of creation and builds the fertile ground for our dreams to sprout.
Plants are such a beautiful reminder of this — those grown in nutritious compost burst forth with life.
Inspired by the alchemy of soil, we’ll descend into our bodies, using movement, breath, sound, and heat to begin composting what is ready to be released to the earth, and to prepare the soil for our next cycle of full creative expression to be unleashed.
A Few Notes for Registrants
- Wear something comfy and join from a place where you feel comfortable moving around and making sound.
- We may lay down for part of the meditation -- feel free to lay on a bed, couch, or set up a cozy nest space on the ground.
- Bring a journal & pen or something to write with.
- It's best to join from a computer rather than phone if possible. Wireless headphones are great so you can move around and still hear me. Computer speakers are fine too!
- If you feel called, you can set the space by lighting a candle and bringing a nourishing tea or drink.
About the Workshop Host
Morgan is a regenerative gardener and certified permaculture designer who loves helping people learn how to grow food, compost, and reconnect with nature through her business Grow With Mo. She is also a practitioner of meditation and embodied movement, and believes that our work to restore nature’s regenerative cycles begins with us, in our bodies. Through simple practices, we can come back to ourselves as expressions of nature, and shift from an extractive relationship to a regenerative one, which then ripples out into how we create our gardens, homes, and communities.
